Prismatic Evolutions is still the modern blue chip. The May 2026 SPC buyout on a reprint dip is the tell: collectors will keep eating Eeveelutions.
151 booster bundles are a hold, not a rip. Rotation plus the 30th anniversary is a stacked narrative. Size it — a surprise reprint would hurt sealed more than Charizard SIR.
Pitch Black is the newest main set with a real chase (Mega Darkrai).
What to skip
